Junior Account Handler

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Account Handler to join our busy Commercial team within the commercial insurance sector. The role involves supporting clients, insurers and finance partners while ensuring compliance with FCA guidelines. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing office presence with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Work in line with FCA guidelines and maintain compliance at all times.
• Handle policy adjustments, renewals and claims efficiently and accurately.
• Liaise with clients, insurers and premium finance companies on policy queries and updates.
• Process new business enquiries and support the renewal process from start to finish.
• Build strong client relationships through excellent customer service and communication.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell additional insurance products where appropriate.
• Provide administrative support and assist other departments as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an insurance brokerage environment.
• Good knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• Strong customer service and telephone sales abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• CII qualifications preferred.

Required skills

• Acturis insurance software (experience beneficial).
