Junior Acoustic Consultant – Noise Control & Construction

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate with a degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science or a related discipline to join our multidisciplinary consultancy in Colchester. The Junior Acoustic Consultant will work on a variety of construction and environmental projects, supporting senior consultants in delivering noise control and vibration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with noise surveys, acoustic testing and environmental assessments on site.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to acoustic modelling for residential, commercial, educational and infrastructure projects.
• Support senior consultants in the design and delivery of planning acoustics, building acoustics and vibration studies.
• Travel to client locations across the UK as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Acoustics, Environmental Acoustics, Physics, Engineering or a closely related field.
• Full UK driving licence and passport.
• Enthusiasm to develop a career in acoustic consultancy.
