Junior Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Installation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join an expanding contractor serving London and the Home Counties. You will work on commercial HVAC projects, supporting the installation team on a variety of systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission commercial air‑conditioning units, including splits, multi‑splits and VRV/VRF systems.
• Fit cold rooms, under‑counter fridges and other refrigeration equipment.
• Travel to sites across London and the M25 area, including occasional night shifts.
• Collaborate with clients such as hotels, bars, restaurants, care homes and other commercial premises.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in air‑conditioning installation.
• Based in London or Greater London, preferably near a tube station.
• Hard‑working with a strong willingness to learn.
• Either newly qualified or close to completing a Level 2 air‑conditioning certificate.

Required skills

• Experience with splits, multi‑splits, VRV/VRF equipment.
• Knowledge of cold‑room and under‑counter refrigeration installations.
• F‑Gas certification (mandatory).
• IPAF and PASMA certifications (beneficial).
