About the role
Ryanair’s Aircraft Engineering Services (AES) is offering a 24‑month Junior Aircraft Engineer Programme based at London Stansted Airport. The scheme combines classroom learning with hands‑on maintenance work, preparing you to become a fully licensed aircraft engineer.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in routine and non‑routine aircraft maintenance tasks.
- Follow approved maintenance procedures and safety standards.
- Participate in inspections, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions on Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Document work performed in line with EASA regulations.
- Progress through the two‑phase training to qualify for Category A, B1 or B2 licences.
Required profile
- Successful completion of all Basic CAT A, B1 and/or B2 modules at a Part 147 approved school.
- Certificate of Recognition from an EASA Part 147 approved institution.
- UK passport or EU passport with settled or pre‑settled status.
- Ability to obtain a full clean UK/EU driving licence within one year of joining.
- Willingness to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Good basic hand skills and a strong passion for aviation.
