Junior Application Support Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing consumer business in Liverpool that is expanding its technology function. The Junior Application Support Analyst will join a supportive team to provide first‑line assistance for core business applications while gaining exposure to system enhancements, integrations and technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for a suite of core business applications.
• Investigate and resolve system, order and inventory‑related issues.
• Troubleshoot application problems and escalate complex cases.
• Maintain support documentation and knowledge‑base articles.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes.
• Support configuration and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with third‑party technology partners on project delivery.
• Keep project plans and support tickets up to date.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience in Application Support, IT Support or Business Systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in developing a career within Business Systems and Application Support.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of ecommerce or customer‑facing platforms.
• Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Exposure to warehouse management systems (beneficial but not essential).
