Junior Clinical Fellow – Cannabis‑Based Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Clinical Fellow to join our London team and work at the forefront of cannabis‑based medicines. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers a hands‑on, patient‑focused experience in an emerging specialty, supporting individuals with complex, life‑changing conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews via video call throughout the patient journey.
• Prescribe and tailor cannabis‑based medicines to individual needs.
• Provide expert guidance on treatment options and ensure prescription safety.
• Answer complex clinical queries and support patient‑support and external teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GMC standards.
• Deliver education and training on cannabis‑based medicines to patients, clinicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered medical practitioner with a full GMC licence to practice.
• Completion of Foundation Year 2 (F2) training or equivalent clinical experience, including a placement in GP or A&E.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Willingness to undergo specialised training in cannabis‑based medicines.
• Strong communication skills across clinical and non‑clinical settings.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation abilities.
• Proactive, resourceful, and detail‑oriented.
