Junior Designer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Designer to join a fast‑paced creative team in Oldham. You will work on a wide range of products – from toys to homeware – creating and adapting artwork for packaging and branding.

Key responsibilities

• Create and adapt design artwork across various products, brands and packaging.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards and creative presentations.
• Prepare specification sheets, artwork files and assets for manufacturers.
• Ensure designs meet scaling, dimension and technical production requirements.
• Produce product and packaging visuals, prototypes and mock‑ups.
• Collaborate with senior designers and stay updated on design trends and technologies.
• Research competitor products, toy trends and consumer insights to inspire commercial solutions.
• Apply brand guidelines consistently across packaging, labels and instructions.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to review and approve print proofs and samples.

Required profile

• University or college graduate, or 1–2 years of industry experience.
• Eager to learn and develop within a team of experienced designers.
• Ability to work on own‑brand and licensed projects while respecting guidelines.
• Strong technical knowledge of cutter guides, packaging, typography and artwork preparation.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can identify and resolve design issues internally.
