Junior DevOps Engineer (London)

About the role

Sparta Global is looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join its London team. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands‑on experience in automating deployments and monitoring cloud‑based applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate application deployments across multiple environments.
• Monitor system health and performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code solutions to provision resources efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices and processes.
• Participate in the company’s Academy training programme to develop advanced technical skills.

Required profile

• Work authorization for the United Kingdom.
• Passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
• Basic understanding of software development and operations concepts.

Required skills

• Python (or a similar programming language).
• Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools.
