Junior Electrical Design Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a recent graduate with a passion for electrical or electronic engineering to join our specialist company that designs and manufactures unique products for the electrical supply industry. The role offers a clear training path to become a competent Electrical Design Engineer, working on both hardware and software projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing specialist training and continuous learning activities.
• Support the creation and updating of technical drawings using CAD.
• Assist with the design of electrical panels and schematic diagrams.
• Produce schematic drawings in line with company standards.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director on unique product development.

Required profile

• Holds a BTEC, T‑Level (Level 3) or BSc (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Basic understanding of CAD software.
• Willingness to commute to the Totton office (Southampton).
• Recent graduate or entry‑level candidate.

• CAD (basic proficiency)
