Junior Events Manager

About the role

As a Junior Events Manager at Zinc, you will help bring the brand’s events programme to life, working closely with Marketing, Sales and external partners. You will be involved in everything from planning and logistics to on‑the‑day delivery, gaining experience in how events drive brand awareness and commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support Zinc’s events calendar, covering trade shows, exhibitions, sales‑led events, webinars and new formats.
• Build timelines, schedules, checklists and run‑sheets to ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate logistics such as exhibitor portals, travel, stock, swag, attendee communications and demos.
• Liaise with venues, stand suppliers, caterers and technical teams to deliver on‑site requirements.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Outbound, Creative and Content teams to align attendees, materials and communications.
• Assist with set‑up, run‑down and problem‑solving on event days.
• Collect feedback, keep attendee data accurate in HubSpot and support post‑event reporting.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in Events, Field Marketing or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience delivering or supporting trade shows or exhibitions.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple details and deadlines.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can act independently.
• Creative mindset focused on event look, feel and attendee experience.
• Comfortable using HubSpot and maintaining accurate data.
• Collaborative team player who enjoys working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Eager to learn and grow within the events discipline.
