Junior Front-End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Front‑End Developer to join our growing Front‑End team in Liverpool. This hybrid, full‑time position offers the chance to work on live, customer‑facing products while receiving regular guidance from senior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain front‑end features across existing web applications.
• Translate design mock‑ups into functional, responsive HTML and CSS.
• Develop and extend Vue‑based components, using Storybook where appropriate.
• Refactor and improve legacy code, fixing bugs and enhancing performance.
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions and sprint planning.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on front‑end development experience.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, maintainable code.
• Curious, eager to learn and comfortable asking questions.
• Organised, able to manage tasks and priorities within a small collaborative team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute beyond core duties.

Required skills

• HTML & CSS (including responsive layouts).
• Basic JavaScript knowledge.
• Experience with Vue.js (Vue 2 or Vue 3).
• Git version control.
• SASS or similar CSS pre‑processor.
• Storybook or component‑driven development.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
• Exposure to agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack).
