Junior Geo-environmental Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Geo‑environmental Engineer to join a leading ground‑engineering consultancy in Bath. The role offers the chance to develop geotechnical expertise while working on a diverse portfolio of contaminated land projects, combining office analysis with on‑site investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of contaminated land assessments and remediation studies.
• Prepare and review interpretive reports under senior guidance.
• Conduct site visits, collect data and support field investigations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop project solutions.
• Engage with clients to communicate findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Geology or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in geotechnical and environmental engineering.
• Valid UK driving licence and full right to work permanently in the UK.
• Ambitious, eager to learn and progress in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Fundamental understanding of geotechnical principles.
• Ability to produce clear technical reports.
• Willingness to work both in the office and on site.
