Junior HR Business Partner

About the role

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are seeking a Junior HR Business Partner to support leaders across their Southern UK bases. You will act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for managers and colleagues, helping to translate business objectives into effective people solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive, commercially‑focused HR advice aligned with business goals, workforce plans and organisational priorities.
• Use data and insight to support people decisions, spotting trends, risks and opportunities in employee relations, engagement, absence and attrition.
• Coach and challenge managers to build confidence in people management, ensuring consistency, fairness and high‑performance outcomes.
• Manage employee‑relations cases, escalating complex or high‑risk matters while maintaining legal compliance.
• Contribute to talent, succession and workforce planning by identifying capability gaps and development opportunities.
• Support cyclical HR activities, engagement initiatives, communication forums and HR projects, continuously improving service delivery and colleague experience.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑management skills; a genuine ambassador for the Jet2 brand and ethos.
• Proven HR generalist experience in a fast‑paced environment, with exposure to a broad range of people matters and employee‑relations cases.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align HR support with business needs and workforce priorities.
• Confidence in building credible partnerships with managers and stakeholders.
