Junior Legal Counsel – Commercial & Corporate Law

About the role

McQueen is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its in‑house legal team in London. You will support a range of commercial and corporate matters for a global luxury fashion house, working closely with business partners across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on commercial contracts, technology agreements, distribution and e‑commerce deals, as well as consumer, advertising and marketing law.
• Coordinate corporate and governance matters for the group of companies worldwide.
• Assist with real estate, construction, compliance and data‑protection issues.
• Draft a variety of contracts and legal documents.
• Maintain the contracts database and develop precedent agreements.
• Conduct legal research to support business decisions.

Required profile

• English‑qualified lawyer with 0‑4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in a corporate/commercial legal team; private practice background is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent drafting ability and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, able to interact with all seniority levels.
• Fluency in French or Italian is desirable but not essential.
• High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
