Junior Legal Counsel - Disputes

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded junior disputes lawyer to join our legal team. You will support a varied portfolio of UK and international commercial disputes, covering contract, customer, service, payment, IP and trademark matters from pre‑action through to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Support commercial disputes, litigation, mediation and settlements.
• Draft legal advice, correspondence, litigation hold notices and counsel instructions.
• Prepare chronologies, evidence summaries and risk assessments.
• Coordinate disclosure, discovery and document preservation.
• Assist with witness preparation and overall litigation management.
• Manage deadlines, reporting, budgets and external counsel relationships.
• Maintain legal privilege and confidentiality.
• Develop disputes playbooks, templates and AI‑enabled legal workflows.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales, ideally NQ–2 PQE.
• Training or experience at a specialist disputes/litigation firm.
• Commercial litigation experience with strong drafting, research and organisational abilities.
• Practical experience using AI tools in legal work.
• Willingness to attend the London office approximately one day per week.
