Junior Legal Counsel

About the role

McQueen is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its in‑house legal team in London. You will support a fast‑moving luxury fashion business by providing commercial and corporate legal advice across a variety of business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on commercial matters, including general contracts, technology agreements, distribution and e‑commerce deals, consumer law, advertising and marketing.
• Coordinate corporate and governance matters for the global group of companies.
• Assist with real estate, construction, compliance and data‑protection issues.
• Collaborate with the legal team to deliver legal support to all business functions.
• Draft a wide range of contracts and legal documents.
• Maintain the contracts database and develop precedent agreements.
• Conduct legal research as required.

Required profile

• English‑qualified lawyer with 0‑4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and able to meet deadlines.
• Confident, approachable and professional communication with all seniority levels.
• High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
• Flexibility, helpful disposition and commitment to teamwork.
