Junior Litigation Lawyer – Full‑Time (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Junior Litigation Lawyer to join our Litigation team on a permanent, full‑time basis. Working hybrid with one day a week in the office, you will help ensure customer litigation is managed fairly, consistently and in line with regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal oversight for a high‑volume customer litigation team, ensuring compliance with Consumer Duty, FCA regulations, CPR and company policies.
• Act as an escalation point for complex or challenging litigation cases and customer communications.
• Support reporting on activity, productivity, service levels, quality and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with third‑party suppliers, court agencies and external litigation partners.
• Collaborate with Resource Planning to anticipate demand peaks and manage resources effectively.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to foster a supportive culture and achieve business goals.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with litigation experience or a clear interest in developing expertise in this area.
• Understanding of Consumer Duty principles, FCA regulations and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Ability to supervise and support a team handling high‑volume litigation.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Legal knowledge of consumer finance litigation.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (Consumer Duty, FCA, CPR).
