Junior Marketing Executive

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing technology business, is looking for a Junior Marketing Executive to join their marketing team in Leeds. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience across digital marketing, content creation, social media, email campaigns and website management, with strong training and long‑term career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
• Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, blogs and the corporate website.
• Schedule and manage social media posts across various platforms.
• Support website updates using the company’s content management system.
• Contribute to SEO activities to improve online visibility.
• Produce marketing materials, presentations and promotional assets.
• Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
• Support email marketing initiatives and maintain marketing databases.
• Help organise exhibitions, events and product launches.
• Research industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong interest in digital marketing and willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• WordPress (or similar CMS).
• Mailchimp or comparable email‑marketing platform.
• Canva or other graphic‑design tools.
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Basic SEO knowledge.
