Junior Paralegal

About the role

Wrigleys Solicitors is seeking a Junior Paralegal to join its property team in Leeds. You will support fee earners across two offices, working within specialist areas such as commercial property, landed estates, charity, and residential transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
• Conduct property searches, prepare reports and obtain indemnity insurance.
• Manage post‑completion processes and related administration.
• Assist with residential property transactions through to completion.
• Draft routine legal documents and statutory declarations.
• Perform source of funds and source of wealth checks.
• Maintain accurate records, time‑recording and compliance with Lexcel and CQS standards.
• Deliver high‑standard client care and stay updated on property law changes.

Required profile

• A law degree with a strong interest in a legal career.
• Previous office‑based or administrative experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Adaptable, flexible and able to work well within a team.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word.
