Junior Paraplanner – £27k-£32k, Benefits & Study Support

About the role

Our client, a well‑established Independent Financial Adviser firm in Hitchin, is looking for a motivated Junior Paraplanner to join a supportive, collaborative team. This role offers an excellent entry point for those early in their paraplanning career who want to develop technical knowledge and progress professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Support advisers with research and report writing.
• Prepare suitability letters, client review packs and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance standards are met.
• Assist with product research across pensions, investments and protection.
• Liaise with providers and clients as required.
• Provide general administrative support to the team.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of paraplanning or financial services administration experience.
• Working towards, or keen to begin, a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Proactive team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
