Junior Paraplanner – Wealth Management (Hertford)

About the role

We are a well‑established independent financial adviser looking for a motivated Junior Paraplanner to join our growing team in Hertford. This role is ideal for a Financial Planning Administrator eager to move into paraplanning or a Diploma‑qualified Junior Paraplanner seeking further development in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters.
• Conduct research on pensions, investments and protection solutions.
• Perform product, fund and platform comparisons.
• Prepare cash‑flow planning and analysis when required.
• Support advisers with pre‑ and post‑meeting tasks.
• Review existing client arrangements and gather provider information.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance standards are met.
• Liaise with providers, advisers and administrators to obtain relevant information.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment.
• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) or close to completion.
• Strong interest in technical financial planning and analytical research.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well in a team.
