Junior Portfolio Associate – Hedge Fund (London)

About the role

This is a junior portfolio associate position within a leading global hedge fund’s credit investment team in London. You will work closely with senior investment leaders, supporting the full transaction lifecycle while gaining exposure to senior decision‑makers from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor collateral performance and ensure compliance with investment guidelines.
• Support portfolio rebalancing activities and new issuance processes.
• Act as the central liaison across portfolio managers, analysts, trading, legal and operations teams.
• Prepare investor reporting and contribute to workflow improvements.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a corporate finance environment (ratings agency, Big 4 Transaction Services, corporate finance or valuations).
• Highly detail‑oriented, commercially curious and able to work at pace.
• Strong academic credentials and ability to coordinate with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capability.
