Junior Project Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established organisation in the leisure, travel and tourism sector, is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their IT team on a permanent basis. The role involves hybrid working with 1‑2 days per week in the Woking office and focuses on delivering IT projects from concept through to benefit realisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects, meeting time, cost and quality targets.
• Define scope, create plans, budgets and allocate resources for multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop business cases, RAID logs, communication plans and adhere to governance frameworks.
• Manage risks, issues and change control processes, maintaining audit trails.
• Oversee financial governance, budgets, forecasting and supplier procurement.
• Engage stakeholders across IT and business, providing status reporting to senior leadership.
• Define as‑is and to‑be processes, ensure business readiness and transition projects into BAU.
• Track and report on project benefits and manage project team resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering IT projects end‑to‑end.
• Strong stakeholder and matrix delivery management skills.
• Supplier management experience and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication abilities.
