Junior Project Manager – Mortgage Specialist

About the role

This is a junior project manager / business analyst position within a fast‑growing specialist mortgage lender. You will work on strategic change initiatives across the mortgage lifecycle, collaborating with senior stakeholders to improve processes, technology and customer outcomes. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week on‑site in London.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of projects and business‑change initiatives across product, operations, underwriting, sales, compliance and technology.
• Create and maintain project plans, status reports, RAID logs and governance documentation.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks and stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings and project discussions.
• Support requirements gathering, documentation and process‑mapping activities.
• Assist with impact assessments, solution design and testing coordination.
• Drive business readiness, implementation and post‑go‑live support.
• Contribute to project governance, prioritisation and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the UK mortgage market, including underwriting, affordability, completions and servicing.
• Experience supporting projects, change initiatives or business‑improvement programmes within a lending environment.
• Excellent organisational, stakeholder‑management and communication abilities.
• Proactive, hands‑on problem‑solver who can thrive in a growing, evolving business.
