Junior Quant Analyst – Strong C++ Skills

About the role
We are looking for a Junior Quant to join our research team in London. You will work on end‑to‑end projects, from idea generation to implementation, focusing on prediction, optimisation and data analysis using large, complex data sets.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop quantitative models and algorithms.
- Process and analyse large data sets to extract actionable insights.
- Implement solutions in C++ and Python within our in‑house infrastructure.
- Validate experimental results using statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to refine model performance.
Required profile
- Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics or Econometrics.
- Demonstrated research ability and strong analytical mindset.
- Very comfortable coding in C++ and/or Python.
- Experience with big‑data or scientific‑computing environments is desirable.
- Ability to use statistics to validate and interpret results.
