About the role
Our client near Abingdon is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their construction team. This entry‑level position offers immediate start and the chance to develop core surveying skills while supporting senior staff on live contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with measurement take‑offs and cost estimating.
- Support estimators during tender preparation and bid submission.
- Help manage commercial aspects of contracts, including procurement, valuations, and subcontractor payments.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to project costs and variations.
Required profile
- Strong interest in quantity surveying and the built environment.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior team members.
- Willingness to learn industry‑specific processes and software.
