Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join an experienced engineering team building secure, reliable software for complex public‑sector environments. The role offers hands‑on experience across both back‑end and front‑end technologies and the chance to grow technical ownership in an agile setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java or Kotlin services using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to front‑end features with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React or Angular.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform database operations on relational and NoSQL stores.
• Support quality through unit, integration and functional testing, code reviews and defect resolution.
• Use Git, build tools and CI/CD pipelines to deliver software in collaboration with product, QA, design and DevOps teams.
• Apply engineering best practices for security, performance, accessibility and maintainability.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of software development experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Strong foundation in object‑oriented programming with Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile team and communicate clearly.
• Eligibility for UK security clearance (minimum 5 years residency).
