About the role
This junior position supports the management of family and charitable trust portfolios for a boutique family office. You will combine day‑to‑day administration with trust accounting and tax compliance, working closely with senior team members to deliver high‑quality service to trustees and beneficiaries.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily trust administration, including payments, income distributions and accurate record‑keeping.
- Prepare trust accounts and support tax compliance (income tax, CGT, IHT reporting).
- Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, stockbrokers and professional advisers, drafting correspondence as needed.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cash‑flows and income payments across trust portfolios.
- Support wider trust operations such as beneficiary reporting, file management and ad‑hoc projects.
Required profile
- Knowledge of trust accounting systems, particularly CCH (Trust Accounts, Central, Viztopia, Accounts Production).
- Exposure to US tax matters is advantageous.
- Ideally ACCA qualified, though equivalent experience is also considered.
