About the role
This permanent, full‑time position is for a passionate Key Stage 2 Class Teacher in a thriving primary school in Accrington. The role starts in September 2026, with the possibility of an earlier start in April for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for Years 3‑6, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
- Implement an ambitious, skills‑rich curriculum that builds on pupils’ prior knowledge.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and motivated.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support diverse learners and promote personal development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with KS2 experience.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and reflective practice.
- Excellent communication and behaviour‑management abilities.
- Enthusiastic, child‑centred approach and willingness to contribute to school life.
