About the role

Join the kitchen team at The Lock Keeper, a historic pub on the River Avon in Keynsham. As a Kitchen Assistant you will support daily operations, maintain cleanliness, and help deliver high‑quality food service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen team in preparing and plating dishes.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
• Support smooth restaurant operations by handling stock and basic prep tasks.
• Demonstrate planning and organisational skills to complete day‑to‑day duties.
• Adhere to kitchen safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Existing Kitchen Assistant or individual seeking the next step in a hospitality career.
• Hard‑working, dedicated and passionate about high‑quality service.
• Team‑oriented with a strong work ethic.
