Kitchen Porter

About the role

We are looking for a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. You will support chefs and kitchen staff by keeping the kitchen clean, organized and running smoothly. The role involves dishwashing, equipment cleaning and occasional food preparation assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping and surface wiping.
• Assist with ingredient preparation and support chefs during food preparation.
• Handle and store food according to safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor kitchen supply inventory and alert management when stock is low.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery and adherence to standards.
• Follow safety procedures, dispose of waste properly and recycle where possible.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
