Knowledge Content Author

About the role

Ayvens is looking for a Knowledge Content Author to join its Knowledge team in Bristol. The role takes responsibility for capturing and maintaining process and theory knowledge, improving the employee working environment through a Knowledge Management System and better serving customers through various channels.

Key responsibilities

• Translate knowledge requirements from business stakeholders into consistent, usable knowledge articles for platforms such as the Knowledge Management System
• Support employees' knowledge needs through knowledge best practice and governance
• Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop knowledge style and standards
• Write and maintain on-brand process and knowledge articles
• Run end-user focus groups to make sure knowledge is fit for purpose
• Ensure knowledge is delivered at the point of need and kept up to date, sharing it with functions such as Learning & Development
• Act as a subject matter expert for knowledge capture and governance

Required profile

• Proven experience in a knowledge management role or similar
• Experience writing and maintaining knowledge and process documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to challenging workload and deadlines

Required skills

• Knowledge of process documentation tools such as Visio
• Competence in Microsoft Office programs
• Cross-functional collaboration
