KS2 Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher to join a primary school in Wisbech for the September 2026 start. The role can be taken as a temporary, long‑term or permanent placement, offering flexibility to suit your career plans.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support pupil development.
• Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and a passion for high‑quality teaching.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Reliability, enthusiasm and a commitment to contributing to school life.

Required skills

• Classroom management.
• Lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
• Effective communication with children and adults.
