KS2 Teacher Needed in Ramsgate

About the role

Primary schools across Ramsgate are seeking enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teachers to join their teams. The role can be full‑time, part‑time or day‑to‑day supply, with an immediate start date. Candidates will work in inclusive classrooms, helping pupils build independence, confidence and strong foundations before secondary school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS2 curriculum across core subjects such as reading, writing and mathematics.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Promote resilience and independence through well‑structured classroom routines.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or willingness to apply for QTS.
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 2, either as an early‑career teacher or an experienced practitioner.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Commitment to high expectations, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management and lesson‑planning abilities.
• Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
