About the role
We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Stockport on a full‑time, long‑term basis. The role starts immediately and offers the chance to support pupils across Key Stage 2 in an inclusive, community‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with class teachers to support pupils' academic progress.
- Deliver targeted interventions to address individual learning needs.
- Help create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Assist with behaviour management and classroom organisation.
Required profile
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
- Recent experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
- Good understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and reliable approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
