About the role
We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Year 5/6 teacher to join a small village primary school in Cambridge on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons, support pupil progress and contribute to a nurturing school community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the KS2 curriculum for a Year 5/6 class.
- Assess, track and support individual pupil progress.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Collaborate with a supportive teaching team and school leadership.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching KS2, preferably Year 5/6.
- Strong behaviour management and classroom confidence.
- Passion for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
