Landscape Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager to take ownership of high‑end garden and landscape projects across Buckinghamshire and the South East. The role combines hands‑on site leadership with client liaison, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the design intent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the construction programme from pre‑construction through to practical completion.
• Lead client liaison throughout the build, providing clear communication and managing expectations.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials and specialist suppliers.
• Plan procurement and resource requirements in advance.
• Manage project costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Identify programme, buildability and delivery risks early.
• Lead and support foremen and site teams.
• Coordinate effectively with designers, architects and other consultants.
• Monitor quality and drive a right‑first‑time approach.
• Manage snagging, handover and project completion.
• Ensure excellent health and safety standards throughout.

Required profile

• Highly organised and able to manage several moving parts simultaneously.
• Proactive rather than reactive, with strong commercial awareness.
• Confident managing programmes, subcontractors and site teams.
• Excellent communicator comfortable dealing directly with discerning clients.
• Calm and solutions‑focused when projects become challenging.
• Comfortable with project administration and technology.
• Able to hold people accountable while building positive working relationships.
• Genuine completer‑finisher who takes pride in delivering projects properly.
