About the role
Join the Pharmacy Team within the Stewartry Cluster as the Lead Pharmacy Technician. You will work from the Pharmacy Hub at Gardenhill Health Centre and across GP practices, delivering clinical pharmacy services and medication reviews for the Dumfries & Galloway community.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage Pharmacy Technicians and Support Workers, ensuring high‑quality medicines management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary GP, CH&SC, hospital, community pharmacy and care home teams to provide seamless pharmaceutical care.
- Oversee medication review services and support patients in optimal use of their medicines.
Required profile
- Experienced Pharmacy Technician with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage staff and maintain effective MDT working relationships.
Required skills
- Line‑management experience.
- Knowledge of community and clinical pharmacy processes.
