Lead Developer Advocate, SQL & Analytics Workloads

About the role

Lead Developer Advocate will serve as a bridge between Snowflake’s product and engineering teams and the global developer community, creating technical content, reference implementations, demos and programs to help SQL developers, analytics engineers and data teams succeed with Snowflake.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the advocacy strategy for SQL development, analytics workflows and the modern data stack.
• Create high‑quality technical content such as tutorials, quickstarts, blog posts, videos, workshop materials and code samples.
• Design and maintain production‑grade reference implementations and demos that showcase real‑world analytics, BI and data transformation use cases.
• Lead enablement for developers across SQL, data modeling, ELT/ETL, dbt, orchestration and dashboarding, producing documentation and adoption assets.
• Represent Snowflake at conferences, meet‑ups, hackathons and community channels, delivering talks and hands‑on demonstrations.
• Gather developer feedback from customers, community members and field teams and translate it into actionable product recommendations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in developer advocacy, technical evangelism or related hands‑on technical roles.
• Proven track record of driving adoption for developer platforms, data products or analytics ecosystems.
• Strong cross‑functional influence with product, engineering, marketing and sales teams.
• Bias for action, ownership and comfort operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
