About the role
As a Lead Development Representative you will generate and qualify new business opportunities for AVEVA’s Direct Sales team across multiple European markets. You will work with inbound leads from demand‑generation campaigns and build an outbound pipeline through research and omnichannel prospecting.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop and qualify opportunities for AVEVA sales using inbound and outbound leads.
- Collaborate with local Marketing, Sales, Technical Sales and other stakeholders to align prospecting with market priorities.
- Conduct cold calls, discovery meetings and present simple business presentations to prospects.
- Utilise prospecting tools, CRM, social‑selling and automation platforms to move leads through the AVEVA Lead Management process.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track personal KPIs such as booked meetings and opportunities transferred.
- Support marketing initiatives including campaigns, events and webinars.
- Occasionally travel to meet sales and marketing teams in the field.
Required profile
- Proven experience conducting discovery meetings and cold‑calling.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, inside‑sales or SDR roles.
- Self‑starter with a hunter mentality, results‑oriented and energetic.
- Strong collaborative attitude and willingness to continuously improve product knowledge.
- Motivated to develop a career in industrial software sales.
