Lead Product Manager – Data

About the role

A leading digital consultancy is seeking a Lead Product Manager (Data) to shape and deliver innovative data products and platforms that drive meaningful business outcomes for public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex data products, platforms and services.
• Define product vision, roadmaps and priorities aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to steer product direction and strategic decisions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear product backlogs and outcomes.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, data and analysis functions.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts to deliver high‑value solutions.
• Drive discovery, delivery and continuous improvement activities.
• Coach and support Product Managers while contributing to product best practice.

Required profile

• Strong experience delivering data products, platforms or services within complex environments.
• Experience working alongside Data Engineering, Architecture and Analytics teams.
• Proven track record of product leadership, roadmap management and prioritisation.
• Knowledge of data architecture, data modelling and governance principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and aligning teams around shared goals.
• Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in Agile environments.
• Consultancy, public sector or highly regulated industry experience is advantageous.
