Lead Software Developer - Dynamics 365 CE

About the role

Connected IT is looking for a Lead Software Developer to take technical ownership of its Dynamics 365 CE platform. In this hands‑on position you will set the technical direction, improve engineering quality and guide a small team of data engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Dynamics 365 CE platform, defining architecture and ensuring solutions are robust and supportable.
• Design and develop plugins, workflows and integrations using C#/.NET.
• Review code and technical designs to raise quality and consistency across teams.
• Define and embed engineering standards for Dynamics 365 CE delivery.
• Line‑manage a small team, set priorities and support their development.
• Identify technical risks and platform limitations early and make them visible.
• Improve data quality and reduce integration issues between Dynamics and downstream systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience line‑managing or mentoring engineers.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse.
• Ability to set technical direction and review designs and code.
• Experience managing Dynamics solutions across environments.
• Good understanding of integration patterns and data flows.
• Experience working in Agile teams using Azure DevOps.
