Learning & Development Consultant – France & Iberia

About the role

The Learning & Development Consultant for the EU market will support Domestic & General’s French and Spanish OEM partners by delivering the International Sales Blueprint and driving conversion performance across core campaigns. The role involves extensive travel to contact‑centre sites in Spain, France, the UK and other locations, with up to 50% of time spent on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with OEM trainers and the D&G L&D team to design sales training, scripts and supporting materials.
• Develop and implement coaching standards, operating rhythms and continuous development programmes for sales teams.
• Coach team leaders to become effective sales coaches through observations and feedback.
• Deliver sales inductions and ongoing training sessions.
• Analyse performance trends, conduct sales reviews and create action plans to improve KPI results.
• Profile top‑performing sales agents and apply insights to recruitment, training and management.
• Share best practices across international markets and ensure consistency of OEM sales activity.
• Work with senior key account managers and account managers to align interventions and staff incentives with conversion targets.
• Chair call‑calibration sessions and liaise with the Quality Assurance team to meet quality and compliance standards.
• Provide feedback to product teams based on performance data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales training, coaching or learning & development within a B2B or contact‑centre environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data and develop actionable plans.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with OEM partners, account managers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time) and stay overnight as required.
• Flexibility to adapt to multiple markets (France, Spain, UK) and varied stakeholder needs.
