Learning & Development Officer (Remote, UK)

About the role
Care Perspectives is seeking a motivated Learning & Development Officer to coordinate, deliver and monitor learning activities across its children’s residential services. The role is primarily remote but requires regular travel throughout the West Midlands, including Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organise and deliver training sessions for staff across multiple sites.
- Develop and maintain learning materials and resources.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of learning programmes.
- Travel to training venues and service locations as needed.
- Support leadership and workforce development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate training records and reports.
Required profile
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Learning & Development or Trainer role, preferably within children’s residential services.
- Willingness to work towards PRICE Instructor certification.
- Desirable: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Desirable: First Aid at Work qualification.
