About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated 1‑1 Learning Support Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in Saffron Walden. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday during term time, providing one‑to‑one support for SEN pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalised assistance to pupils with special educational needs.
- Support classroom teachers in managing challenging behaviour.
- Implement agreed‑upon learning plans and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with SEN pupils.
- Experience in a mainstream primary school setting.
- Proven ability to handle challenging behaviour.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references.
