About the role
A welcoming school in Lewisham is looking for a full‑time Learning Support Assistant to help pupils across core subjects, especially Maths, English or Science. The role is based on‑site and involves working five days a week in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide learning support to students in Maths, English and Science.
- Assist classroom teachers with differentiated instruction and resources.
- Help pupils achieve their potential through one‑to‑one and small‑group sessions.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar school‑based role.
- Strong knowledge of at least one core subject – Maths, English or Science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A relevant degree is preferred but not essential for outstanding candidates.
