About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school in Slough. In this role you will help students who need extra help to keep up with their school work, creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils with learning difficulties.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and behaviour management.
- Support pupils during reading and phonics practice.
- Help maintain a tidy, welcoming classroom environment.
Required profile
- Calm, compassionate and confident with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
- Enthusiastic, bubbly personality and good communication skills.
- Interest in a career in psychology, education or related fields.
Required skills
- Experience working with children (preferred but not essential).
What we offer
- Term‑time only contract, full‑time hours.
- Small class sizes and supportive team.
- Good travel links to Slough.
- Daily rate of £90‑£110.
