Learning Support Assistant – Primary Schools

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join schools across South East England. In this role you will help students with diverse learning needs access the curriculum, build confidence and develop social‑emotional skills both in and out of the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils, including those with SEND.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and student engagement.
• Help pupils develop social, emotional and life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and support staff to tailor support plans.

Required profile

• Positive, patient and caring attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work with children or vulnerable individuals.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
