About the role
We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist provision in Sittingbourne. The role supports young people aged 16‑25 in both classroom and vocational workshop settings, helping them develop confidence, independence and employability.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans across a range of vocational subjects.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to learners with diverse needs.
- Encourage confidence, independence and active engagement during lessons and workshops.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure a person‑centred approach.
Required profile
- Warm, patient and resilient attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Experience with SEND or SEMH learners is desirable but not essential.
