Lecturer – Computer Science (Full‑time, London)

About the role

The University of Huddersfield London Campus, operated in partnership with Study Group, is seeking a full‑time Lecturer in Computer Science to deliver high‑quality teaching and contribute to research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver teaching material across undergraduate and postgraduate modules, using appropriate learning and assessment methods.
• Mark assessments, provide feedback, and support student progress.
• Supervise student projects, field trips and placements, and act as a personal tutor.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic performance.
• Develop and revise curriculum content, ensuring alignment with quality assurance processes.
• Engage in research, publish scholarly work, and contribute to the academic community.

Required profile

• PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong research and publication record in reputable journals or conferences.
• Fellowship of Advance HE (or to be achieved within 12 months of appointment).
• Experience teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate modules in relevant computer‑science subjects.

What we offer

• Permanent full‑time contract (37.5 hours per week).
• Salary up to £54,000 per annum.
